The control knobs are positioned to corre-

spond to the surface burners they regulate.

Each knob is designed to be a ”push-to-turn”

knob. Although this is a child-safe design,

children should never be left unattended in the

kitchen when the range is in use.

To light a surface burner,

push in and turn

the corresponding control knob counterclock-

wise to

HIGH

. You will hear a clicking sound.

This is the electronic igniter. Once the burner is

lit, continue turning the knob counterclockwise

to the desired setting. There are four

settings—

HIGH

MED

(medium),

LOW

and

SIM

(simmer). You will feel a slight detent in

the knob rotation when each setting is aligned.

Surface burner control knob

Never leave pans on a HIGH setting

unattended. Be cautious when cooking

food in fat or grease. It can become hot

enough to ignite.
